🔒 Short version: ScoreSaver stores everything on your device. We collect no personal information, operate no servers, and require no account. Your match scores are yours alone.
Information We Collect
ScoreSaver does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely offline and stores all data locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework.
The data you enter — match records, scores, dates, locations, and grade information — never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
Data We Store On Your Device
- Match records you enter (date, match type, location, score, computed grade)
- App settings such as your default location or preferred match type
- A username and hashed password stored in the iOS Keychain (if you enable app lock)
All of the above is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData and iOS Keychain — both protected by iOS's sandboxing and device encryption.
Third-Party Services
ScoreSaver uses no third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or tracking frameworks. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or any other third party embedded in the app.
Face ID / Passcode
If you enable Face ID or Passcode unlock, ScoreSaver uses the iOS Local Authentication framework to verify your identity on-device. Biometric data never leaves your device and is not accessible to ScoreSaver — only the pass/fail result is returned by iOS.
iCloud Backups
If you enable iCloud backup on your device, your app data may be included in those backups as part of standard iOS behaviour. This is controlled entirely by your iCloud settings, not by ScoreSaver. SwiftData stores (used by ScoreSaver) are included in device backups by default.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual match records from within the app at any time. Deleting the app from your device will permanently remove all stored data.
Children's Privacy
ScoreSaver is intended for users aged 4 and older (Sports category). We do not knowingly collect data from children, as the app stores no data externally.

ISSF is a trademark of the International Shooting Sport Federation. ScoreSaver is not affiliated with or endorsed by ISSF or Pistol Australia.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this privacy policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note changes in the App Store release notes.
